ASLI is the professional association and support network for Sign Language interpreters in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Our membership includes those who work as interpreters and Deaf and hearing people who support our aims.
What do we do?
- Publish a Membership magazine called NEWSLI. It is produced quarterly and is a magazine for the profession. It contains issues relating to all practicing Interpreters and offers a global perspective on our work.
- Issue Professional Indemnity Insurance as a membership benefit to Full & Associate Members.
- Hold regular national and regional meetings to enable all members to become involved. These include training sessions, discussions on the development of the interpreting profession and ASLI policy. Our meetings provide an ideal forum for networking with other professionals.
