Professional Development
Mentoring
Alongside Professional Development courses, ASLI runs a Mentoring Programme. Mentoring is key to the development of individuals and our profession as a whole and this programme was established after full membership consultation in 2003. Mentors attend 6 days of training, followed by an individual portfolio based assessment.
ASLI Trained Mentors can then advertise their services on this web site.

Your liaison is responsible for raising any ideas with the head of ASLI Training. Then a programme is devised providing top quality training from the appropriately experienced professionals in that field. Courses are designed to be as cost effective as possible. Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis, so it is important you send in your booking forms as soon as you see courses on this web site. All courses are evaluated afterwards and we are constantly working towards giving participants a learning opportunity that both develops and challenges us all within this great profession.
