This year’s ASLI conference will take place in Blackpool at the Imperial Hotel. The theme is ‘Reframe, Reset and Refresh’ and the programme promises to be a vibrant mix of talks, workshops and experiential learning.
A consultative event to develop the ASLI strategic plan and discuss motions proposed for voting. The aim of the discussion is to clarity for the ASLI Board and Membership the direction of travel for ASLI as a whole. This event will be free as we really appreciate the time, energy and passion that people bring that allows ASLI to thrive. There will be an evening meal and a social activity for those who have attended the Consultation Session.
Registration for the consultation session will be released in June.

This year’s conference will be a mixture of skills development, reflection, and traditional presentation of papers. In parallel to the conference schedule, there will be an array of stalls and information stands, opportunities for networking, a quite space, and wellbeing support. All refreshments and lunch provided. The language of the conference is BSL. All presentations and workshops will be delivered in BSL, without public interpretation.

Saturday will culminate in a fabulous a gala dinner with entertainment! We will also be presenting our annual FASLI award and tri-annual Ben Steiner award.

This coffee morning is a space for networking with specific groups or regions and to spend valuable time with each other. We won't be having our AGM during the conference weekend, as we want to allow time during the consultation session for discussions before opening the voting for motions. For those who live further afield it also means getting home at a reasonable time if you prefer.
