Jim Cromwell's Profile
I am known mostly for being a clinical psychologist working with Deaf adults in London until 2007, then Deaf young people in Exeter, despite my efforts to not do that. When I moved to Devon I qualified as an interpreter via the NVQ route and worked for a few years before inexorably falling into the psychology hole again.
I escaped in 2017.
Now I am an interpreter again in the South West, mostly community interpreting with a specialism in mental health interpreting. (I am one of the consultants to the Mental Health Best Practice document.)
